antique clocks
John D. asked:

I have a mid 19th century clock that needs to have its dial repainted and have a pane of glass painted for the lower portion of the clock door. I do not know of anyone who can do the old-world craftsmanship needed. I have tried eBay with no success. Any suggestions?

To restore something like that you need an antique restorer. Somebody has to evaluate if the clock won’t loose its value by restoring those parts. Check with bernacki & associates in Chicago they are an antique restorer that is very good. -
